Who are we?
In 2023, we represented the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) for the first time at the annual Field Robotics Event (FRE) held in Slovenia, competing with our robot Jackal. In 2024, the team travelled to Germany, where we successfully designed, built, and programmed our robot from scratch. This year, in 2025, we are excited to participate once again, this time traveling to Italy with our newly developed robot, Peik.
What is FRE?
The international Field Robot Event (FRE) is an annual outdoor contest on a agricultural field, where students and their supervisors compete within several tasks in autonomous navigation and other operations. Read more about the competition on the official website.
